AfriVacx — Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: June 2026

Welcome to AfriVacx. By accessing or using our website (afrivacx.com), mobile application, or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. About AfriVacx

AfriVacx is a digital health platform that connects individuals and organisations with licensed healthcare providers for vaccination services across Nigeria. We do not administer vaccines directly — we facilitate access to qualified medical professionals and healthcare facilities.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent if booking on behalf of a minor

• Provide accurate and complete personal and health information during registration and booking

• Have a valid and accessible email address

3. Booking and Appointments

When you book a vaccination appointment through AfriVacx:

• You are responsible for providing accurate information, including health history and any known allergies

• Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by the healthcare provider

• You must arrive at the agreed time and location. Late arrivals may result in cancellation at the provider’s discretion

• AfriVacx reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments where necessary and will notify you as soon as possible

4. Medical Disclaimer

AfriVacx is a facilitation and scheduling platform, not a medical provider. The vaccination services you receive are administered by independent, licensed healthcare professionals. AfriVacx does not provide medical advice and is not liable for any adverse medical events arising from the vaccination services provided.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional if you have concerns about your suitability for any vaccine.

5. Corporate and Group Services

Organisations that engage AfriVacx for employee vaccination programmes agree to:

• Ensure employee participation is voluntary and informed

• Provide accurate headcount and logistics information

• Comply with applicable workplace health and safety laws in Nigeria

6. Payments

Where payments are required for services:

• All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated

• Payments are processed through secure, third-party payment gateways

• Refund requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days

• AfriVacx is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or financial institutions

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information on our platform

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the functionality of our website or systems

• Misuse any promotional offers or referral codes

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the AfriVacx platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the intellectual property of AfriVacx or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, AfriVacx shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform or vaccination services, including but not limited to adverse health reactions, loss of data, or service interruptions.

10. Changes to These Terms

AfriVacx may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
